How I Work

The right structure depends on the work

My background includes full-time roles, focused project work, contract support, and fractional or part-time partnerships. I consider the work, the people, and what the organization needs when determining the right structure.

Fractional or part-time

Ongoing executive or operational support, often 20 to 30 hours a week.

Project-based

A defined piece of work with clear scope and ownership, such as an offsite, a data room, or a process rebuild.

Contract

Support through a transition, growth period, or stretch when a team needs additional capacity.

Full-time

Open to the right in-house role, remote, hybrid, or on-site, when the work and the fit line up.

What I value in my work

The standards I bring to the work

  • Clear priorities and shared expectations
  • Focused work and thoughtful use of time
  • Proactive communication and good judgment around urgency
  • Systems and documentation that make work easier to manage
  • Outcomes that are useful and lasting

In practice

I work best with clear priorities, enough context to use good judgment, and the trust to take ownership.

That means following through without being chased, knowing what needs attention and what can wait, and keeping information organized so the work does not depend on memory.

The environments I’m drawn to

  • Founder-led organizations and executive teams where partnership matters
  • Growth-stage, family-owned, nonprofit, and mission-driven organizations
  • People who move quickly and communicate directly
  • Work that calls for discretion and independent judgment
  • Teams willing to improve a process when something isn’t working

If the work calls for experience, judgment, and real ownership, I’d be glad to have a conversation.
